Student Center

Here at NTBI we have only had a somewhat small "lounge" for the students to gather in.
Last year we moved the location of the library and turned the space into the new Student Center.
We thought it would be done a long time ago, but ordering various supplies and waiting on it has caused some considerable delay.
Hopefully it will be done before summer break begins!

This first photo is what the room looked like several months ago. It looks very different now, but that is for another blog.

NTBI is in an historic building, construction began in the late 1800's.
Originally a hotel that wealthy people from around the world would travel to in order to experience different types of baths which used the "miracle" healing Waukesha spring water.


In these following two photos Jeremy is setting the window frame for a window.
Originally there were windows in these spaces.
But with remodeling over the years they were eventually completely covered up.
The typical person (those with a non-construction eye) wouldn't be able to tell there has been windows. Jeremy and a couple of his co-workers took out the walls and uncovered the window spaces.

So there he is! My hard-workin' man!
